Winter Solstice Audiovisual Concert

Gothic Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery

December 21st

2025

During our residency at Crown Hill Cemetery in 2025, Michael Moskaliuk and I facilitated a variety of events: artist talks, a cyanotype workshop, a showcase for Behind Closed Doors, etc. Our biggest and most notable event during the year was our Winter Solstice Audiovisual concert inside Crown Hill’s famous Gothic Chapel.

To commemorate the shortest day of the year, we put on a concert of live music by electronic composers M. Moskaliuk, Caldwell/Tester, and Eustress with live visuals by Jess Dunn, Jen Banks, and Thadd Lawrence.

Projecting mapping the Gothic Chapel was a unique challenge, but I had the best team collaborating with me: Jen Banks and Thadd Lawrence of Visual Vibrations. Together, we projected on the entire interior, showcasing art we made in collaboration as well as my animations and video works.

To make the night extra special, Michael and I made a series of limited edition cyanotype prints we gifted each guest upon arrival. Thank you to the Crown Hill Foundation for trusting our vision and allowing us to put on this incredible event.
